About the Artist

Patricia Kelsall was most recently a part-time lecturer in Art & Design at Sir John Deane's College in Northwich, England, teaching drawing and painting to part-time students. She has exhibited her work in the North East of England and Cheshire as well as the Royal Academy in London, the Manchester Academy of Fine Art and several times at the Annual Salon, Maison de Pays, Mornant, France.

She is a regular illustrator for an international French language journal.

Cast-iron montages of her drawings of notable buildings of Northwich have been placed at numerous sites around the town. In addition she has regularly featured as an artist on board cruise ships teaching and demonstrating water-colour painting.

Patricia works in oils, acrylics, water-colours and pen and ink. Nationally, her paintings have been reviewed in The Observer Magazine and The Guardian newspaper, and her work is frequently featured in the local press.

She loves visiting France where she and her late husband Richard - also an artist - spent many Summer holidays. They enjoyed walking, combined with outdoor sketching and painting.
