Following on from his first volume of poems, "Who says you are there no more?" , his second volume is a further tribute to Nana and to his much-loved four-legged companions, their poodle Tiggy and his Airedales - Benji (pictured below), Hector and Barnie. He also writes about the wildlife in his rural garden, visits to Nana's native Germany and his philosophy of life.
But it's not all serious and sad - he also throws in some humorous verses about traffic cones, dreams of a chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce and 'flu jabs that don't work...
His sincerity strikes a chord with readers and his work has been published occasionally in the Letters Column of the local newspaper, the Sandbach Chronicle - especially his thoughts on topical matters like the death of Princess Diana, which affected him greatly.
